Selene's Ending

"- I'm determined to crack this mystery wide open because the culprit it none other than...Selene!"

A sudden air of pressure fell over the party-goers, seeing the negative affects to accusing the green-eyes girl. Added to the fact they knew very little from the sullen ninja, her instincts were in a prime all their own. But this was Airiahan, after all, and she would dive headfirst into danger if it suited her fancy. Vincent still wasn't sure if it was guts or just plain foolishness, either way the theory was out in the open now.

The olive dyed garb hid the smile lining her face, rustling as she glanced between the body of people. Her movements were slow but calculating in every turn. The pair of humanoids sheepishly watched the "shootout" so to speak.

"C'mon Sel, who else can snatch things at that speed? You've been caught in the act, just give up before it gets serious." the kitsune remarked, both their eyes beaming despite the severity of the situation. "What do 'ya say?"

"Are they for real or not?" Kyo asked, whispering to the two by his side.

"I'm not sure, it's hard to tell." fired back Kamiko, swaying over to the rest of the guests, currently watching from the chair and sofa. Rei was already busting into double chocolate chip cookies to survey the action, Trinity was eyeballing them as she sipped at her soda pop through a twisty straw. Neither seemed fazed by the showdown taking place before them.

"My bet's on Airianhan." Rei mentioned between mouthfuls, crunching down on the irresistable sweets.

"I wouldn't count Selene out though." Vincent chimed in, abandoning his perch by the door to mingle amongst the growing mob. He fetched a brownie for himself and took a spot beside the small ginger. "They've both got moves on them, that's for sure."

While they droned out the benefits for each side to better prophesying who their winner would be, the "combatants" stifled their enjoyment. They mouthed dialogue out to one another, exchanging plans for them alone. The were cat picked up bits and pieces but left them to their own devices, still nursing the Coke in her arms. A simultaneous nod erupted between them, one reaching for the lights while the other raced for their secret stash in the coat closet. With their sight gone, except in the case of Trinity, they were quickly bombarded by the duo pranksters. Shouts rang out in both alarm and fear, extruding from male and female alike. By the time their deed was done and the switch returned their last sense, their friends were very surprised.

Habiki blushed in a bright shade of pink, covering his eyes with his hands while he flooded with emotions. Kamiko and Rei were giggling together, taking in account the hastily scrawled makeup, neon pink mustaches, and clip-on bows attached to their hair. Trinity smirked, toying with the accessory as she brushed confetti off her spiderweb leggings.

"Airianhan!" the boys shouted in unison, Kyo's voice low while Vincent's bounded throughout the entire building.

"The sparkles were a nice touch, by the way. " Selene noted, twisting a strand of her short hair.

"Absolutely." the kitsune agreed, adjusting her camera over the kimono.

"Say cheese." joked the ninja girl, leveling her own. Flashes went off from both sides, rapidly capturing unforgettable memories. "Happy Birthday Airianhan."
